Do you ever feel like your artwork doesn't have much </i>consistency?</i>  I do, but i know there are things you can do to bring attention to the work that is consistent, thoughtful, and very importantly up-to-date... the best stuff...a.k.a.. the portfolio.

I'm bringing in new work and getting rid of some older works here and on my flickr account.  I think a new photography website... 9thlifestudio.com? is brewing.

On a side note, my friend Nikki was kind enough to get an 18x24 inch print of one of the pin-up shots  from the series with Eva. She did some really intricate highlighting work to the image in white, black-light paint. The outcome was incredible..really! I only wish i could share it

Today I got home from my week long trip to South Carolina for a friends wedding.  Everything went really well and it was a beautiful Southern country wedding - just how Jason and Jenni wanted it.  I met my boyfriends mom for the first time and the rest of his family - sister, brother in law, and niece, and tons of friends that he grew up with.  They were all so nice.  I feel like meeting and knowing about these people helps me to know kevin so much better.  He is so loved by so many different people...and i feel lucky to have him in my life, too.  It was a whirlwind of activity and quite exhausting.  I thought for a long time on the drive home about a new lease and attitude on my current life since my mom passed away and i feel as if I'm coming back to Michigan with something special in my heart.  Success.

My mom passed away 3 days ago.. i do have trouble with words..so I don't know where to take this other than telling you facts, details, times, etc.. she lost her battle with cancer after 4+ years.  I love her so much... i have so many great memories with her and the rest of my my family.  She was an awesome mother and I always looked up to her in sooo many ways.  She was strong, independent, business savy, genuine, and a good wife and housekeeper.  She was also one of god's children-very religious and proper.  I hope that i take all the good aspects of my mom and I grow into a good true woman like she was.  I wish that I will get to know my children better than she did, and even in that aspect i think knowing that will make me a better person, like she'd want me to be.
